I have a hard time understanding the premise of certain books。 In this, the fmc has flown across the country to meet her favorite author。 Then she hangs out waiting in her hotel room for so long that she misses the entire event。 The author makes a huge deal that one of her friends doesn’t know how to blow dry her own hair, that the elevator is out of order, and that the fmc cannot walk down the stairs in a timely manner - but what trips me up is that if she had left early to get a good seat, sur I have a hard time understanding the premise of certain books。 In this, the fmc has flown across the country to meet her favorite author。 Then she hangs out waiting in her hotel room for so long that she misses the entire event。 The author makes a huge deal that one of her friends doesn’t know how to blow dry her own hair, that the elevator is out of order, and that the fmc cannot walk down the stairs in a timely manner - but what trips me up is that if she had left early to get a good seat, surely none of that would have mattered。 I guess she really didn’t care that much。 Then there is the moment when the author has the fictional author mock people for throwing around French words。 Except that the author uses intermittent French words and has an exchange where the fmc uses the rather common term “pièce de resistance” only to have her sister ask when she learned to speak French。 。。。more

So a fan girl meets her favorite author, finds out the author is actually a handsome man instead of the woman she was expecting, and they become friends。 No big deal。 However, then this turns into a green card scenario and he needs to marry her to stay in the country。 What? Fake/real marriage maybe turns to more。。。。 Clean romance, fun situations maybe involving rules that were meant to be broken, awesome friends, fun family, and I wanted more of this book for sure。

Ok。 I am already a huge fan of the Sweater Weather series。 Have read every book so far。 And wow, the men! Unexpectedly very enjoyable! I wasn't sure what to thing going into this book, but the modern marriage of convenience trope was done very well! Definitely some Proposal vibes, but still in a modern and fresh way。 Pierre was so sweet and I loved watching him soften and fall for Tasha。 Very good! Unexpectedly very enjoyable! Well done modern marriage of convenience story with kind and charming characters。 Sweet clean story with very low spice (some kissing。 Implied ‘wedding night’ near the end of the story)。

AHHHH! So good! Ok I love love love Savannah Scott’s “shipped” series (if you haven’t read it, GO READ IT!) so I was excited she was one of the authors for this series…。i was absolutely not disappointed! Oh my gosh the main characters! Love them! The way it developed。 The ending! The BONUS EPILOGUE! Just yes! Read it!

I have really been enjoying reading the sweet romances in this series。 The FMC was very likable and the plot was unique。 However this installment felt the least connected to the Harvest Hollow world。 Most of the book takes place in another state entirely, and I really missed the small town vibes from the other stories。 At the same time, the relationship between FMC and MMC felt pretty …。 Surface level。 I didn’t connect with their love story。 Perhaps it was because the story was very front-loaded I have really been enjoying reading the sweet romances in this series。 The FMC was very likable and the plot was unique。 However this installment felt the least connected to the Harvest Hollow world。 Most of the book takes place in another state entirely, and I really missed the small town vibes from the other stories。 At the same time, the relationship between FMC and MMC felt pretty …。 Surface level。 I didn’t connect with their love story。 Perhaps it was because the story was very front-loaded and resolved very quickly at the end。 I think a lot of readers would relate to this book - especially the bookstagram community。 Thank you for the advanced copy。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

Pierre and Tasha are so cute together, beginning their acquaintance as friends。 She's expecting her fave romance author to be a woman, and he's unconsciously drawn to her。 But neither of them begins with any ooo la la thoughts。 When she comes to his aid later during an awkward moment for him, he sees her kindness。 Surprisingly for this introvert, Pierre is comfortable in her company when she's chosen as the winner to have dinner with him at the conference。 Which puts her first in the mind of the author's agent when he needs help again later。What follows is a charming story of two people getting to know each other。 And falling in love。 All when it's against the rules to do so。So, so swoony! 。。。more

Tasha and PierrePierre the romance writer has learned from his profession。 He knows how to be romantic。 Tasha is caring and giving and shows her love in the best ways。 If you love a great clean romance with plenty of tension and a fantastic build up that leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen next, read A Not So Fictional Fall。 It hits the mark well。 There are great characters, a great storyline, and great writing。 What more could you ask for?
